Testimonials

I joined Extended Families after a friend recommended them to me and I ended up staying for 7 years. Extended Families is a good organization for someone new to disability as they take the time to match you up with the right participant and they support you throughout the process. I loved my time working for Extended Families.

I have LOVED being an inclusion support worker! The role is so rewarding, I always have a sense of pride when speaking of my work. Seeing young participants grow into the adults they were always meant to be and witnessing adults bravely tackle new skills has been such a gift. Extended Families is a supportive organisation to work with, one where you are championed. I recommend EFA to anyone who is wanting to make a real difference in peoples lives.

Extended Families was a great place to work during my time studying at University. They allowed me to work flexibly and were very understanding of my circumstances. Working at Extended Families also allowed me to gain practical experience in my chosen field while studying.
