The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing individualised support and community links for people with permanent and significant disability, their families and carers.  It takes a lifetime approach, investing in people with disability early to improve their outcomes later in life.

The introduction of the NDIS is a big change to the existing human services system and how those with a disability access services.
