Our ExtendABLE programs give children the opportunity to try something new, develop skills and have fun with others. This certainly happened for those that attended our school holiday lego workshop, AFL Football, gymnastics, dance and screen printing events.

There was lots of tumbling, climbing, hanging and balancing in the Gymnastics activity in the South East. Thanks to Mordialloc Gymnastics Club and Mordialloc Community Centre for running a great activity!

Exploring their creative side, a small group of children experience a colourful encounter with screen printing in the North. Thanks Alanna from Merri Creek Studio for having us!

There was plenty of kicking, handballing and tackling at Keilor Recreation Reserve when 50 children from Extended Families North West region had the opportunity to learn new skills and have fun playing AFL Football. Thanks to Keilor Auskick and AFL Victoria for providing coaches and equipment for the afternoon. Thanks also to the Western Bulldogs for donating showbags and Essendon Bombers for donating drink bottles for the children to take home with them.

And today children danced their way through different dance styles - Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre (Jazz, Singing and Drama) - at a one day series of dance classes at Diakosmos Dance Studio.

Whilst others built fantastic creations out of LEGO at our LEGO workshop.  Thanks Janette from Young Engineers - Inner East for running a great session.

Living with a disability can be difficult. We support people aged 0-30 and their families in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula to build friendships and connect with their community.
