Free Autism workshop for Vietnamese Families
Extended Families has joined with Positive Partnerships in hosting several workshops for Vietnamese parents and carers of young people with Autism living in Melbourne’s South. The upcoming July workshop is designed to support families with a secondary school aged child/ren (and young adults) with Autism.
The workshop is FREE and will be delivered in Vietnamese and English. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
Workshop content will include: Understanding autism and your child ; Strategies and tools to support their learning. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen, share and learn with other families from the Vietnamese community who support school-aged children on the autism spectrum.
Note:
- Childcare is not provided at this event as it will take place during school term.
- Only a limited number of places are available (20-24) so please register your interest as soon as possible. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
