Joint open letter released from NDIA and NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission
The NDIA and NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission have released a joint open letter to all Victorian participants, their families and carers.
The letter helps make sure Victorians:
- know where to go if they have questions about their plan, providers or services
- understand what they can expect from providers under the current Victorian physical distancing and self-isolation rules
- know about the changes to what they can buy with NDIS funding, including funding for personal protective equipment
- know what to do if they are concerned about the quality or safety of their supports.
The letter also provides links to more information on the NDIS and NDIS Commission websites, Victorian and Australian Government websites, and phone numbers to relevant organisations.
